Great Coffee Starts With Great Beans
At The Bean Coffee Company, we believe coffee should be simple. It should be organic. It should be fresh. And it should taste incredible.
That's why every coffee we roast is USDA and CCOF Certified Organic, roasted in small batches, and shipped directly from our roastery in Oceanside, California.
Whether you're looking for a rich dark roast, a nostalgic flavored coffee, a smooth everyday blend, or a Swiss Water Process decaf that still tastes like coffee, our goal is the same: help you enjoy a better cup every day.
Our Story
Our roots trace back to 1979, when San Diego Coffee, Tea & Spice began roasting and distributing coffee throughout Southern California.
For decades, the company supplied restaurants, offices, cafés, hotels, and specialty retailers while building a reputation for quality roasting, dependable service, and fresh coffee.
In 2007, The Bean Coffee Company was launched as an organic-focused coffee brand built around a simple idea: make high-quality organic coffee more accessible to everyday coffee drinkers.
In 2012, San Diego Coffee, Tea & Spice acquired The Bean Coffee Company and brought the brand fully into the organization. Since then, The Bean Coffee Company has become our ecommerce-focused organic coffee brand, serving customers throughout the United States through our website, Amazon, Walmart, and other online marketplaces.
Today, we continue to roast in Oceanside, California, combining more than four decades of roasting heritage with a modern direct-to-consumer experience.

The Bean Coffee Company is independently owned and operated by the Holland and Leslie families.
Lawrence and Jill Holland have spent decades building San Diego Coffee, Tea & Spice into a respected Southern California roasting company known for quality, consistency, and service.
Craig and Kanani Leslie joined the business to help grow The Bean Coffee Company and expand its ecommerce presence, bringing the brand to coffee lovers across the country.
