Does decaf coffee still contain caffeine?
Yes. Decaf is not completely caffeine-free. The FDA says an 8-ounce cup of decaf typically contains 2 to 15 mg of caffeine. The exact amount varies by coffee and brewing method.
How much caffeine is in decaf coffee?
The amount varies, but it is substantially lower than full-caffeine coffee. Serving size, coffee amount, and brewing method all affect the final cup.
How is caffeine removed from coffee?
Our decaf coffees use the Swiss Water® Process, which removes caffeine from green coffee using water and green coffee extract.
Is decaf coffee completely caffeine-free?
No. A small trace may remain after decaffeination.
Can I drink decaf coffee before bed?
Many people choose decaf later in the day because it contains far less caffeine. Individual sensitivity varies, so choose what works for your routine.
